  • Email address
  • Usage Data

Usage Data

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service.

Usage Data may include information such as Your Device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that You visit, the time and date of Your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

Free Tier Tracking: For users of our free tier service, we use a device identifier (UUID) stored in your browser's localStorage to track usage limits (50 images per device lifetime). This identifier is generated randomly and is not linked to your personal information. We also collect and hash your IP address using SHA-256 encryption before storage for GDPR compliance. The hashed IP address cannot be reversed to identify your original IP address and is used only as a fallback identifier if the device token is unavailable. Both the device token and hashed IP address are used solely to prevent abuse and enforce fair usage limits. You can clear the device token at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage.

When You access the Service by or through a mobile device, We may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device You use, Your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of Your mobile device, Your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser You use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

Tracking Technologies and Cookies

We do not use web beacons, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics services. We only use cookies and localStorage for essential website functionality, user preferences, and free tier tracking.

Cookies or Browser Cookies. A cookie is a small file placed on Your Device. We only use essential cookies that are necessary for the website to function, and functionality cookies (such as theme preferences) that you can control. You can instruct Your browser to refuse all Cookies or to indicate when a Cookie is being sent. However, if You do not accept essential Cookies, You may not be able to use some parts of our Service.

LocalStorage Device Token. For free tier users, we store a device identifier (UUID) in your browser's localStorage with the key "alt-text-device-token". This identifier is used to track your free tier usage limits (50 images per device). The device token requires your consent for functionality cookies and can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage. This identifier is not used for cross-site tracking and is not linked to your personal information.

Web Beacons. We do not use web beacons, tracking pixels, or similar technologies on our website.

Cookies can be "Persistent" or "Session" Cookies. Persistent Cookies remain on Your personal computer or mobile device when You go offline, while Session Cookies are deleted as soon as You close Your web browser.

We use both Session and Persistent Cookies for the purposes set out below:
