Definitions

For the purposes of this Cookies Policy:

  • Company (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Cookies Policy) refers to Three Things Media, Härtingerstr. 29, 85051 Ingolstadt.
  • Cookies means small files that are placed on Your computer, mobile device or any other device by a website, containing details of your browsing history on that website among its many uses.
  • Website refers to AltKit, accessible from https://altkit.app
  • You means the individual accessing or using the Website, or a company, or any legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Website, as applicable.

The use of the Cookies

Type of Cookies We Use

Cookies can be "Persistent" or "Session" Cookies. Persistent Cookies remain on your personal computer or mobile device when You go offline, while Session Cookies are deleted as soon as You close your web browser.

We use both session and persistent Cookies for the purposes set out below. We do not use advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking Cookies.

Necessary / Essential Cookies

Type: Session and persistent Cookies

Administered by: Us

Purpose: These Cookies are essential to provide You with services available through the Website and to enable You to use some of its features. They authenticate Your session, protect requests against cross-site request forgery, and secure the sign-in redirect. Without these Cookies, the services that You have asked for cannot be provided, and We only use these Cookies to provide You with those services. They cannot be disabled.

  • altkit_account_session - identifies Your signed-in session. Set by the Website after You sign in through the shared Three Things Media Accounts service; expires after 14 days. It is HTTP-only (not readable by scripts on the page), and marked Secure when the Website is served over HTTPS.
  • altkit_csrf - a random token that must accompany state-changing requests so that another site cannot submit them on Your behalf. Script-readable by design, because the page has to send it back.
  • altkit_oauth_state - a short-lived token that ties the sign-in redirect back to the request that started it, preventing a forged callback. Cleared once sign-in completes.
  • cc_cookie - records Your cookie choices so We do not ask again. Expires after 182 days.
  • nuxt-color-mode (localStorage, not a cookie) - the light, dark or system theme the page is shown in. It is written on first visit, holds no identifier, and never leaves Your browser; it is strictly necessary to display the page as You chose. Clear it by clearing Your browser's site data.

Functionality Storage

Type: Persistent localStorage entry

Purpose: Only if You accept functionality storage, an optional device identifier is stored to count the free web-form images used on this device. It is opt-in and can be withdrawn at any time from the cookie settings, which deletes it.

  • Name: alt-text-device-token
  • Type: Persistent localStorage entry (not a cookie)
  • Purpose: Stores a random identifier (UUID) that helps Us enforce the free demo usage limit consistently across requests and prevent abuse. It is not linked to Your personal information and cannot be used to track You across websites.
  • Expiry: Persistent, until cleared by You
  • Can be disabled: Yes, by declining functionality storage in the cookie settings or by clearing Your browser localStorage

No Analytics or Advertising Cookies

We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, web beacons, or any other third-party analytics or tracking service, and We do not sell Your data. Consequently there is no analytics category to consent to: the cookie settings offer only essential Cookies and optional functionality storage.

Your Choices Regarding Cookies

If You prefer to avoid the use of Cookies on the Website, first You must disable the use of Cookies in your browser and then delete the Cookies saved in your browser associated with this website. You may use this option for preventing the use of Cookies at any time.

If You do not accept Our Cookies, You may experience some inconvenience in your use of the Website and some features may not function properly.
